Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Order Processing

All Modu-Shade products are custom-made to order.

Production begins after:

  • Final measurements are approved
  • Order details are confirmed
  • Payment is received

Standard Production Time:

  • 2–4 weeks for most indoor shades
  • 3–6 weeks for motorized and outdoor shades
    (Production times may vary depending on fabric, motor type, and availability.)

2. Shipping Methods

Modu-Shade ships products using trusted national carriers or local delivery services.
Shipping options include:

  • Standard Ground Shipping
  • Local Delivery (New York / New Jersey area)
  • White-Glove Delivery (when applicable)
    Shipping method is selected at the time of order confirmation.

3. Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated based on order size, weight, destination, and delivery method.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Any special handling or expedited shipping requests will incur additional charges.

4. Delivery Timeline

Estimated delivery timelines:

  • Local Delivery: 1–3 business days after production
  • Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days after shipment
  • Freight / Large Orders: 5–10 business days
    Delivery dates are estimates only and not guaranteed.

5. Delivery Location

  • Deliveries are made to the ground-level entrance unless otherwise arranged.
  • Customer must ensure clear access for delivery.
  • Modu-Shade is not responsible for delays caused by restricted access, incorrect addresses, or unavailable recipients.

6. Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers must:

  • Inspect products immediately upon delivery
  • Report any visible damage or missing items within 48 hours
  • Provide photos and delivery documentation
    Failure to report within this timeframe may void shipping-related claims.

7. Damaged or Lost Shipments

  • Modu-Shade will assist in filing claims with the carrier
  • Replacement or repair will be arranged after carrier confirmation
  • Delays caused by carriers are outside Modu-Shade’s direct control

8. Installation Scheduling

  • Installation (if included) is scheduled after product delivery
  • Installation dates depend on product readiness and technician availability
  • Rescheduling must be requested at least 48 hours in advance

9. Customer Pick-Up

  • Customer pick-up may be available by appointment only
  • Modu-Shade is not responsible for damage once products are picked up

10. International Shipping

  • International shipping may be available upon request
  • Customer is responsible for customs duties, taxes, and import fees
  • Modu-Shade is not responsible for customs delays

11. Policy Updates

Modu-Shade reserves the right to modify this Shipping & Delivery Policy at any time without prior notice.
